TQ3104SW BOND STREET 577-1/40/59 (West side) 09/06/89 Nos.4 AND 5


Terraced houses, now with shop and linked to No.3 (qv). Early C19. Stucco, roof of Welsh slate, asphalted. 3 storeys over basement with attic, one window each. Ground floor has C20 shop front with steps up to panelled door on right. Upper floors have full-height segmental bays with tripartite windows and sashes of original design; parapet carried round bays; stack to party wall. Rear has one window with sashes of original design. INTERIOR: each house originally had a straight-flight stair against the outside wall with columnar newels, stick balusters and closed string; in No.4 the stair is missing between ground and first floor and the balusters are missing between second floor and attic; wide floor-boards to second floors and attics.
