Semi-detached villas. 1830-2, partly refenestrated late C19 and mid C20. Architect C.A.Busby. Stucco over rubble and brick, hipped slate roof, boarded overhanging eaves. 3 storeys over basement, 1:3:3:1 bays; double bow fronted with entrances in outer bays, flat string courses and rusticated ground floors, sash windows without glazing bars except for first floor to No.17 which has marginal glazing bars, continuous canopy hoods to first floor French casement windows (fixed light windows to No.19) carried on cast-iron supports with renewed balconies, flat-roofed pilaster porches with bottle balustrade (glazed addition to No.19) approached by flight of steps, rectangular fanlights and 8-panel doors. No.19 with long north return abutting Nos 1-3 Lansdowne Square (qv).
