Pair of houses. Dated 1835 on gables. Ashlar with slate roof. 2 storeys with basement and attic, 3 bays to each house; central 4 bays project under 2 gables, with 3 panelled pilasters ending in gabled finials. End bays have cornice and panelled parapet. Windows have label moulds and are sashed, those to 1st floor and one to attic with glazing bars. Attic windows have 4-centred heads. Gables have octagonal stone chimneys, central stone stack. Iron area railings with decorative heads and stone gate piers to front; stone wall with open arcade parapet to rear. No. 2 has entance in low castellated side porch, with label mould and 4-panel door. 2 cherub's heads under returns of cornice and shield with heraldic crest in gable. No. 4 has similar porch to recessed bay; complete overlight.
