12/13 Churchyard cross approx 13.6.58 5 metres to south of south chapel of Church of St Michael and All Angels

GV II*

Churchyard cross, now sundial. Probably C15. Dressed red sandstone. 4 square steps; square base with evidence of probable carved heads at corners, now chamfered; tapering square shaft with chamfered and stopped corners; moulded neck to square sundial block (probably a C17 alteration) with damaged pyramidal cap. V.C.H., Vol VIII, p. 218.
