HIGHGATE HILL N19 (North Side) No 106 (Ireton House) and No 106A

(Formerly listed as No 106 (Ireton House) and No 108 (Lyndale House))


Early C18 pair, possibly with C17 core. Each 3 storey and attic, 3 windows. High pitched tiled roof with abtrusive modern dormers. Red brick with moulded and dentilled brick cornice and low stone-cope parapet. Gauged segmental brick arches with keystones to replaced sash windows with glazing bars. C19 4-panel doors in panelled reveals. Roman Doric doorcases with triglyph frieze, dentilled cornice and pediment. Interiors retain early C18 panelling, staircases, etc; also probably late C17 features, including ceiling to first floor front room of No 108.

No 104 (Cromwell House) and walls, Nos 106, 106A,108 and walls and gates, No 110 and walls and No 112 form a group.
