6/14 The Old Farmhouse Rest- aurant

Farmhouse, now restaurant. C17 with mid to late C19 alterations and additions. Timber framed with painted brick infill and brick additions painted to imitate timber framing; hipped plain tile roof; brick ridge stack with lozenge shaped shafts. 2-bay range aligned east-west facing north extended to the east. Other additions to the west and south. 2 storeys, square panelled timber framing with straight braces, eaves level raised slightly, probably in the C19, slightly irregular fenestration. Two C19 gabled porches, with segmental-headed casements inserted into the blocked doorways, and small first floor casements with cast iron latticed frames. Between them is a C20 lean-to porch. Interior. Chamfered and stopped ceiling beams.
